Help name our new baby giraffe

There's one thing that the keepers at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo just can't agree on - the name of the new baby giraffe. Each keeper has their own favourite, so they’re calling on you to decide.

The long-awaited male giraffe calf, standing just under 6ft tall, made his arrival last month. He was born to mother Savannah, her second calf, after a 15-month pregnancy.

Just after the birth Team Leader Cliff Tack said: “We are delighted to have another giraffe calf here at Whipsnade and his birth is very important for the European breeding programme. He is a very lively character too and his mother is coping very well.”

But what should we call him?

There are five names that his keepers can't choose between. They are:

Mtoto - which means 'baby' in Swahili
Twiga - which means 'giraffe' in Swahili
Shingo - which means 'neck' in Swahili
Bolt - after long-legged Beijing Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt
Puzzle - his keepers say he is a very curious boy.

Now you get to decide.
