Masters courses awarded

The Prize-giving Ceremony for the 2007/08 Masters Courses in Wild Animal Biology and Wild Animal Health took place today.

These courses which are jointly run by ZSL and the Royal Veterinary College, University of London, provide advanced tuition in wild animal health for biologists and veterinarians.

Over 200 veterinarians and biologists, originating from 44 different countries, have graduated and now work in wildlife conservation, health and research throughout the world.

The picture shows Professor Stephen May, Vice-Principal of the Royal Veterinary College, and Ralph Armond, Director General of ZSL, who awarded the prizes, with the prize winners:

Elizabeth Bonnin (winner of the highest aggregate marks in the MSc WAB course and also best research project), and Mark Jones (highest aggregate marks in the MSc WAH course and also best research project).
